I heard about Hazrat Shaykh Banaras Owaisi through my brother. I suffered from many problems like severe headaches, depression, swelling of limbs, back pain and adding to these pains were sleepless nights.
It all began a year after I got married in 1996. My headaches and pains became part of my daily basis. My nights were like nightmares. I continuously had been seeing the doctors for my headaches, depression and high blood pressure etc. and was given several tablets which totalled up to 8 a day. The pain subsided slightly until the medicine wore off however after a short time the tablets had no effect on me what so ever. After continually going to the doctors I was referred to a specialist where I had several scans and blood test and was told there was nothing wrong. The doctors had said, “It was due to high blood pressure as they couldn’t figure out any other reason”.
However, I felt there was more to it. I was diagnosed with depression due to my children, which I was unsure about as they are not at all troublesome and tried not to stress me in any way, as they knew about my pains and various other problems. I was given various tablets which I had to take for life. Throughout the first couple years of marriage, the pains significantly increased but were ignored as I was listening to the doctor’s advice.
The headaches got worse over the years it was affecting my mood in the household and between the children. I didn’t give up going to the doctors, as I felt it was impossible to be having constant pains for up to 6 years, as I felt I had perfect health, family and had a perfect house but still had pains which sometimes, I would have really bad migraines which meant I could not look after the family and many times my husband and other family members took over.
My fourteen years of sleepless nights which were added to the misery. I felt scared a lot of the time, afraid to stay alone and heard voices & noises which added to my fear.
After fourteen years of marriage my situation was still the same. After a holiday to Pakistan, my husband was recently told by a Peer (mystic) who had come to collect (shirni) as he does every year, and mentioned to my husband that someone has done black magic on your wife but my husband doesn’t believe in black magic and never mentioned it to me as I would end up getting stressed out and I would worry more.
It is now fifteen (15) years into my marriage. I have eight (8) lovely children but still had the same pains the children remember me having since they were small. One day, someone told my husband about a peer (mystic) living close by us to pay him a visit and to find out. However, every time I went he would give me taweez to put in water and drink massive amounts of water which was impossible for me. After several weeks I felt no different.

The day came when we went to see Hazrat Shaykh Banaras Owaisi, it was a 2 hours’ drive and I was shattered with pain. When we arrived, Hazrat Shaykh Banaras Owaisi was happy, polite and cheerful man who made us sit with him. All of a sudden, Hazrat Shaykh Banaras Owaisi asked me a question, “why are you here, you don’t believe in me”. I replied, “No I don’t but I listened to my brother and my husband”. Then Hazrat Shaykh Banaras Owaisi said, “Close your eyes and pointed his finger towards me” Hazrat Shaykh Banaras Owaisi said, “I will make your heart beat go faster and suddenly I felt my heart beating really fast”. I was then told to open my eyes and felt my heart beat slowing down.
I straight away believed in him whilst sitting there, Hazrat Shaykh Banaras Owaisi said, “Is your leg okay?” Told me to stretch it out and I did so as there was no pain. I asked him how did you know, as I didn’t tell anyone, he replied by saying he knew. From then on he gave me some taweez for the house, one to put round my neck and one for my eldest daughter who was having back pain which we ignored thinking it was normal. We were told it was due to black magic and was given taweez for her neck. Also my husband was given to put round his neck and couple of other taweez to burn and some to put in water to drink for couple of days.
After going to Hazrat Shaykh Banaras Owaisi a couple of time and bringing taweez I feel 100% better now, I have been told to ring Hazrat Shaykh Banaras Owaisi without hesitation if further pains occur.
